Permitted Logistics Operations

Transport and Final Disposal of Waste and Effluents

We are first and foremost carriers of municipal solid waste, hazardous solid and liquid waste, recyclable waste, sewage effluents, wastewater and brines, with approved vehicles and operational traceability under national and interprovincial regulations.

An operation does not generate «rubbish»: it generates distinct streams that cannot be mixed. What comes out of the toilets at a site office, what the vacuum truck collects, what a camp canteen discards, recoverable cardboard and plastic, and the workshop's hazardous waste follow four separate routes, each with its vehicle, its licensed destination and its record. Sorting that out is the work; the haul is only the visible part.

What separates documented transport from a plain haul

The paperwork left after a pickup

A pickup without a record solved the day's operational problem and left the regulatory one open, which is the expensive one. Every stream leaves its own backing: hazardous waste travels with a transport manifest signed by all three parties and closes with a final disposal certificate; municipal solid waste, with the intake record from the licensed disposal centre. In both cases the destination is declared before the truck leaves, not decided along the way.

Hazardous waste takes a different route

Used oils, contaminated containers and rags, solvents, acids, paints and residues containing heavy metals or cyanides share neither truck, nor paperwork, nor destination with the rest. They require a licensed vehicle, a driver licensed for that load and a named operating facility with its registration number. How we manage hazardous waste.

Brines, effluents and process water

Sewage effluent and process brine look alike from the outside and are not transported the same way. Brine is dense, corrosive and variable in pH: it calls for tanks with anti-corrosion lining or stainless steel, sealed discharge valves and internal baffles to stop the load shifting on a mountain road. Vacuum trucks work with high-capacity suction pumps able to lift fluids carrying suspended solids at altitude, where thin air cuts the performance of any pump.

The haul across mountain roads

In northwestern Argentina the haul is not the formality between two points: it is the most exposed part of the service. High-altitude roads, stretches without signal, and distances that turn any setback into hours. That is why we run support units and personnel trained in road safety, and why municipal solid waste travels in bodies with sealed tarpaulins and leachate retention: so that what was collected from a camp does not end up on the shoulder of the road carrying it.

We guarantee service traceability in every operation, from pick-up through to documented final disposal.

Where the waste we carry begins

Much of what we collect is generated by us while providing another service. The effluent that comes out of a portable toilet during unit servicing on site or at camp enters this same documented circuit, as does the material lifted by the vacuum truck when emptying cesspools, chambers and biodigesters, or the sludge produced by operating an effluent treatment plant. Having the operational generator and the carrier be the same provider is not a commercial convenience: it is what keeps material from sitting in storage waiting for someone to collect it. The permits covering each leg are listed in our certifications and accreditations.

Frequently asked questions

What paperwork is left after a collection?
The transport manifest signed by all three parties — generator, carrier and plant — and the final disposal certificate issued by the licensed operator. That pair of documents is what gets presented to an audit or a tender. A collection without a record solved the day's operational problem and left the regulatory one open.
Can different types of waste be mixed in one trip?
No, and it is not a matter of tidiness. Each stream has its classification, its treatment and its authorised destination: camp domestic waste, recyclables, sewage effluent and hazardous waste follow separate circuits. Mixing them means the manifest no longer describes what is actually travelling, and that is a breach in itself.
Do you handle small volumes or only large contracts?
Both. A construction site with a one-off collection and a mining operation with scheduled pickups use the same fleet and the same documentary scheme. What changes is frequency and logistics, not the backing: the service is documented the same way in either case.
What happens if the material cannot be delivered to the intended plant?
The rule is clear: the material returns to the generator or goes to the location the competent authority designates. There is no alternative disposal or improvised substitute destination. That is precisely what makes the system trustworthy, and the reason the destination is declared in writing before the truck leaves.
Do you also remove sludge from a treatment plant?
Yes, and it is common for the same client to contract both plant operation and sludge removal. Having both with one provider stops material accumulating while a licensed carrier is found — which is the point where findings usually appear.
